The Kol Nidrei cello (Rebecca Bartels), chanting and singing (through Shehechiyanu) from our Atria Erev Yom Kippur service. Kol nidrei, ve-esarei vacharamei, vekonamei, vechinuyei, vekinusei ushvu-ot, dindarna ude-ishtaba'na, ude-achareimna vedi-asarna al nafshatana, miyom kipuriym ze ad yom kipuriym haba aleinu letovah, kulhon icharatna vehon. Kulhon yehon sharan, sheviykiyn sheviytiyn, beteiliyn umvutaliyn, la sheriyriyn vela kayamiyn. Nidrana la nidrei, ve-esarana la esarei, ushvu'atana la shevu'ot. All vows, bonds of abstinence, boycotts, sacraments, promises, obligations, and oaths [to God], that we vow and that we swear and that we utter and all that we forbid ourselves regarding our souls, from this day of Yom Kippur until the next Yom Kippur, that we undertake [with God] for our welfare, for all of these, we do repent. [God,] All of them are to be dissolved, releasing and released, cancelled and annulled, not valid and not established. Our vows [to You] are not to be considered vows, our bonds of abstinence [to You] are not bonds and our oaths [to You] are not oaths. |
