Reunion of Jerusalem Israeli law enforcement Israeli Law EnforcementSuivez le compte twitter : Twitter : twitter.com et ma chaine youtube LIKMA38 : www.youtube.com In common with police forces around the world, the task of Israel's police is to maintain the quality of life by fighting crime, assisting the authorities in carrying out the law and enforcing traffic regulations, as well as providing guidance on preventive measures for the safety and protection of the population. The police's principal mobile task force, the Border Guard, deals mainly with internal security problems and includes a special anti-terrorist unit. The frequency and threat of terrorist incidents led concerned citizens to request active participation in the protection of their communities. Thus, a volunteer civil guard was established (1974) to maintain neighborhood security units, including command centers, armed patrols and training programs. |

Egypt Faces a Turning Point
On Wednesday and Thursday, Egyptians will freely elect their president for the first time after 60 years of military dictatorship. Initial absentee ballots indicate that Abdel Moneim Aboul Fotouh is the frontrunner for now. Fotouh is an Islamist and former Muslim Brotherhood leader. However, many analysts and polls suggest the race is wide open to several candidates, including Islamists and even a candidate from Hosni Mubarak's defunct regime. This election is a key indicator for Egypt's future. Egyptians are about to choose whether to leave power in the hands of the secular elite—as it was under Mubarak—or to unleash the long-suppressed Islamists. If Egypt elects an Islamist, tension in the Middle East will rise dramatically. It already is apparent that the historic 1979 peace treaty between Israel and Egypt will not survive. "There is also concern and the concern is that if radical elements, radical new leaders in Egypt and elsewhere in the Middle East will replace the old regimes, peace with Israel and stability in the whole Middle East are under great threat," Eli Shaked, former Israeli ambassador to Egypt, said. The Trumpet has long predicted that Cairo would fall into Islamist hands and that Egypt would form an alliance with the king of radical Islam: Iran. This election will bring that forecast closer to fulfillment. Continue to watch for Islamists to take over Egypt and to break off any remaining relations with Israel. For more details, read our article, "Prophecy ... |

Dark Soho - Madness
Dark Soho - Madness From VA - Voojoo Rituals By Hovek Olam Records Dark Soho - Dark Soho are three young guys from the Krayot, the suburbs of Haifa: Sagiv Boxer, born 1978, a student; Omer Kadosh (Rizo), born 1979; and Zeev Dukeman, born 1980. Both Rizo and Zeev are currently serving their duty in the Israeli army. Both Sagiv and Rizo have a background of guitar playing, they played in an assortment of rock/metal bands, and even cooperated in one band called Limphozitim B. They discovered trance when a friend brought a tape of DJ Jorg (SST). Shakta's Silicon Trip made the final move from metal to trance. One day Rizo received the Impulse Tracker from Roy Sasson (ex-Shidapu), gave it to Boxer as well, and they both started playing with it at home. When it was clear that this was not enough, they decided to buy equipment together, and started working under the name Soho. Zeev joined later. He played the Violin for 5 years, since the age of 9, went through metal, until he found a Groove Box at a friend's who use to listen to electronic music, and got hooked up. He bought one for himself and started to amuse himself with it. Then he discovered the first TIT compilation, and DNA's Virtual Jungle, connected the Groove Box to the computer, and started making music. At first he worked by himself. Later he met Avishay Terdiman and they formed Chemical Synthesis- they released 3 tracks in Astronomic Trance, a CD- Final Fantasy, and then Zeev decided that it doesn't work for him and ... |

Israeli rock band's song in Fiat ad
A new TV commercial of the Fiat car manufacturer chose to feature a song by the Israeli hard rock band, Hayehudim, known overseas as IUDM. The song "You Hurt Me Anyway" is the English version of a song from the band's 2007 album, "Forte." The ad was released online several weeks ago, and is expected to be broadcast on US television, in spite of the fact it is in Italian. The band's PR office said the commercial was made in Italian to maintain its authenticity, since Fiat is an Italian car. |
